Cool game but very easy and fast to reach a full light all over the screen and infinite energy. Maybe add HP system to enemies (like HP = HP_base + floor(level / X) where HP_base is 1 and you add 1 every X level) ? Then with light dmg upgrades and you hit 1 by sec ? 

I already had in mind to put an HP system for the waves and have the damage for the lighthouse be upgradeable, but it wasn't clear to me how to indicate the wave's remaining HP to the player. 

Furthermore, if you haven't killed the wave with the beam, by the time the beam goes around, the wave will certainly have hit the island. :/
