Wow, what a lovely surprise to read this! I can’t believe you went back to play Their Eyes after all these years - that really made my day. :)
Yes, not only some of the mechanics are a bit clunky, but also some parts aren’t super intuitive (like the oil :D), but it’s so great to see you stuck with it and figured it all out! I’m really looking forward to checking out the video you posted.
And yes… the new game is coming! Right now I’m finishing it and doing lots of debugging. It’s way more ambitious than the first one - bigger, more complex mechanics - so it’s taking much longer than I thought. I originally hoped to finish it in six months, like Their Eyes, but… four years later, here we are! :D
We should be almost there now!
