played this game and created the backstory to a JRPG, including "ancient temple frozen in time," "character who becomes a god," "character replaced by their alt-universe self," and "pure-hearted character who becomes grizzled veteran leading the band of plucky heroes to stop the aforementioned god." it absolutely ruled.
