It took me like 6 tries. The way that I found easiest was to wait for it to gain some distance after the first shot before shooting it again. (It will rush you on the second successful shot) Use the distance to reload and wait for it to get close. When it's close enough, it stops zigzagging. Unload all 5 rounds without missing and it should die.
