im not sure if im the only one to encounter this issue but sometimes after getting caught in a hunt, it wont let me drop items or pick up the caldron.  small possiblity of it being user error as i dont know everything yet.

Happens if ghost catches from a hiding spot. Try hiding when ghost is near you and see if that replicates your issue. If yes, then it will be solved in a future update.
