This is a cool game! The controls are lil confusing for me (lowkey i couldn't even figure out how to grab anything) but it's fun nonetheless. The core gameplay is good, which is super convenient if you wanna develop it more. And the story around it offers a lot of opportunities to slide interesting bits of worldbuilding, cool areas, explore whatever themes you want. And the music is also really nice.

Only criticism i have is maybe include a lil tutorial level, and the deceleration could maybe have some visual cue, like a lil spark or vibration? 

Again really good game. There's so much to explore with old educational games, I had a whole class on like critical theory applied to those, it's pretty interesting.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! ^^ Yeah, there's a ton of niceities I'd ultimately like to add (along with a lot more areas and plot and things). I definitely wouldn't be opposed to adding a tutorial, although it might make more sense to do when the main game is mostly done and it's clearer what all the different controls will be and such. When I can actually work on this again I can try adding something like that for when you decelerate (Caelifsfan would presumably have to change his wing movements for example so you would probably feel and hear that).

When I say tutorial, it really just means a bare bones introduction of this key does this thing. You don't even need an npc to explain it or anything. But also given that your the one working on it, it's not like you need it so it makes sense to save it for when you'd actually release the full game. That wing thing is a cool idea too, I hadn't thought of that but it kinda helps make the bug more of a presence. It's actually kinda scary how little animations can create such a big bond between players and fictional animals

The full game for sure has potential, there's so many exploration games on here, but I can't think of any that use flight as the main form of travel.
