Recently a couple weeks ago a really amazing game called Emma's growth was shutdown completely after the creator stopped respond, which was very upsetting. I get it life is hard sometimes and you don't have to keep pushing your self to update the game, but you shouldn't make games for others but because you enjoy it yourself. I believe that you should start off with a fresh start and go with option 3, making a new game, it could be anything even a simple twine game with trashy ai images, which still shows you put the effort and that you tried. Welcome back and thank you for not abandoning completely, I hope to see more of your works.
