Let's assume MC entered the forest specifically to find those pages, and that's why they won't leave without them. Are they pages from a special book? Spells? Love letters?

What kind of book can be so special that someone would refuse to leave without those pages? Were they written by someone special to MC? Do they contain important information? And how did they get there? Who lost them? And how did MC find out about them? It must have been recent unless the pages are buried like buried treasure. Are they pieces of a treasure map? Or were they simply scattered more recently? Are they MC's notes which were stolen by the wind? So many questions! So intriguing!
