Current plans are that levelling opportunities  will be distributed infrequently at fixed story points with extra skill points being a rare reward for solving tasks a certain way. Since the skill check system runs a lot like D&D, we have to be pretty sparing with stat growth or he gets pretty overpowered pretty fast.

Episode 1 & 2 were primarily focused on story/character setup, so you'll be seeing a bit more use of the game systems (inventory, stats, etc) in Episode 3 and beyond!
