The table on p75 could use a sentence of explanation. I understood it fine as if you need this, then do this. But some people might get confused.
Also, it’s a minor thing, but a carry out from addition is actually slightly faster than all Boolean logic for XOR.
So
(X+Y)-2*(X AND Y)
