Maybe it was my fault, but I could not craft anything, the menu opened but I could not find out how to craft.
yeah, it's my fault. it's just a bug because i made crafting at the last days before deadline, maybe i can fix it. for now, try to get grass first and make string without making grass be inventory. post-deadline bugfixing should be allowed.
