For sure! It can be pretty awkward at times, setting deadlines and hoping everyone fulfills them is one thing, having it happen is another! XD From the sounds of it, this sort of thing happens to quite a number of indie dev's and they find solutions to work through it. (Replacing people, threatening to withhold payments, etc, etc.) But I don't know if there's a solid solution without causing more issues unfortunately. :S
