I can tell that you pulled some inspiration from the original Galaga with this one! One of my favorite arcade games! Some ideas that I have is to make the bullets a bit bigger because they were a bit hard to see. Also, it is common in games for the game designer to "cheat" in the player's favor. In this case, making the hit box for the enemy's bullets a bit smaller than the actual sprite for the bullet. This would make it so that if there were only a couple of pixels of overlap of the sprite, the player would still be considered to dodge it. Another thing is for the parry to activate instantly and then have a cooldown after. It felt like it was lagging a bit because of the animation. Great work though and I like the direction this project is going. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I love the simplicity of arcade games so it was very fun to get to put one together myself. Also thanks so much for the advice! I have to admit I find balancing enemy mechanics to be finnicky and difficult (and also started to slack off on polishing near the end haha) so I'll be sure to implement it!
