Just received Graeme Mason's ZX Dreams Next magazine and prompted me to try and load Atic Atac again (as if by magic it would work this time!).

At first it would just load the colour title screen, after DEGRAGing it runs the black and white screen but alas no further!

I have a KS2 running 3.02 firmware but still no luck.

I tried DEFRAG again but it confirms it has already been DEFRAGed!

Any ideas?

Hi, sorry you are having problems. Does the game display an error message during start-up, or just hang? Also, try a different SD card if that is possible. The game is confirmed to work with the official KS2 card. Try downloading the game files again.

colour screen loads then black and white then nothing - no lightning.

No error message. I’ve been using the sd card that came with KS2 - will try a different one as you suggest!

3.02 would be the CORE. I am curious which version of the operating system you are running? NextZXOS ??? Thanks.

oh. I installed the 24 November update which lists it as NextZXOS v2.09

Thanks to Kev I got this working - just needed a simple update by holding 'U' on start-up. Who knew
