Honestly, i think you should do a mix of 2 and 3, where you keep the old game as a lesson that people are always willing to offer their input to improve a game. What if you make a different game in the 3D model? Doesn't have to be completely different from your first, but I'd say it'd look pretty cool to see what else you can come up with
