It's the first time ever I'm writing a review on Itch, but this game really deserves it. It's super underrated, in my opinion, and should attract significantly more attention. What's already there is incredibly promising, and one can definitely see how much love for detail went into the characters, the modeling of their gradual growth, and the stories everything is embedded in.

I'm posting a couple of things I personally would have done differently, and I'm deliberately not calling them "improvement suggestions" because whether they constitute an improvement is entirely up to the discernment of the individual, so please discard these things if they don't make sense to you:

  1. At the time of this writing, the game sits at a rating of 4.1, and this despite the fact that it's an awesome weight-gain and stuffing game, so its rating should be higher. I think I can see why it isn't: The first couple of in-game weeks were pretty annoying due to the constant shortage of money the player is exposed to. During that time, taking out the girls to a nice place is pretty much a no-no as it immediately threatens reaching the weekly goal of 700 $ to pay rent. This gets better as the game progresses, but it's an issue during the beginning. --> I would suggest decreasing the weekly rent or increasing the job's payout, or both.
  2. All of the girls are very beautiful -- except Jackie. Now, life gets more colorful and intense as a result of contrasts -- you couldn't really enjoy a good burger without the presence of a concept called "salad", and a hot shower is enjoyable the most after you've worked out in the cold for a couple of hours, and so forth --, and maybe Jackie was added as a contrast to the beauty of the other girls -- you know, to make their beauty more apparent?  If you replace the pink hair with a more male haircut, her face might as well be that of a random chubby Asian guy. This is a problem because she's one of the central characters in the game, and the current story arc dedicates a lot of time to her. --> My suggestions would be to remodel her face... pink hair is also a questionable choice, but one could see that as a change from the other girls' regular hair colors.
  3.  Players enjoy this game for the stuffing and weight gain aspects, not for a tiny calendar or doing push-ups in a park. These things might be "nice to have", but since you're only one developer, I would suggest focusing on the core aspects before working on features some might enjoy, while others might call them unnecessary.

Again, whether you put into practice any of that is entirely up to you -- I'll be back for the next version of the game either way, because I'm looking forward to more content.

Good work!

P. S.: I support the game on Patreon, just using a different name.

Thank you so much for the high praise and support!

  1. I like the idea for the first point but I also wanted to introduce another aspect of characters as a second tree so I might look at revising it, I didn't get too much feedback on the balance so thank you.
  2. I also agree with you with Jackie, it was my first character ever and I also did not have the resources and know how to use them, I plan on seeing if I can do a tiny gradual overhaul but the other aspect of it  "SPOLIER" her line goes down the path that as much as you think you are choosing they can also be holding the cards. I could remodel her face but then I would need to redo everything else I was thinking about facial reconstruction surgery but I am still not set on a path with her so I haven't touched her story all too much.
  3. I do agree with you on the extra stuff, I wanted to keep trying new things just to see if I can do it and to try not to get complacent. But on the other aspect the park will be a story arc we got Chloe now!

These were all amazing and they were along the same vein to what I was thinking but I do want to thank you, you have given me some motivation that I can use for the next update. I really needed that extra push as I am trying to get more and more done
