I think there is a bug at some point and the story ends prematurely: if you climb up and exit at night, there are no options afterwards.

This is actually one of the endings, but I forgot to add another condition to wrap up the event neatly (and didn't get to add the thank you for playing node before the time ran out). Thank you for being diligent and pointing out a potential bug!
