So, just as general info for anyone who finds this here on itch. It's incomplete, and will probably be incomplete for a long time, if not indefinitely. Apparently there won't even be an update until 2026 thanks to the new project he's working on. Current SA update is 1.25 on Patreon if you want to go pay for an unfinished product like I did. I was a fool and thought since he'd started the new project SA must be complete. Found out after paying to subscribe to Patreon because most of the messages are behind the paywall, but nope, it ain't done. He's just working on something new now and left SA unfinished and apparently SA is kind of his "main game" on SS and the new project is the "main game" on Patreon. For now. We'll see if it ever gets finished. So many developers do this. Start one, start a new one, never finish the old one. Rinse/repeat. (sigh) Keeping my fingers crossed though because it really is a great story.

I notice a handful of Devs do that, start a game and before they finished it, start a new game. Some go a whole year before hearing anything about any kind of update. I used to donate some money but now I just wait to see if a game gets finished or not.

It's why they do it. It's like going fishing and setting multiple lines. Then you fish the spot that's active.

The few dollars generated by the lesser games still are profitable, and they turn out content for the paying people.

On Steam, this behavior earns a game an automatic thumbs-down from me. But people are stupid enough to support Dr. Crackhead on Patreon to over $30,000/month while he makes them wait 5+ years between updates.

Most gamers probably shouldn't be allowed to handle their own money!

So much hate towards DPC when they release more content than any other single developer.  Also, it's five years if you don't get the episode update on patreon.   There's a TON of content in season 3, although it probably won't feel that way if you're only doing one play through as the paths all branch and multiple play throughs are required for all the girls/all the context.  Still, 8 hours if you skip all mini-games, per episode (and there's 3 completed episodes 9-11 and the prelude), and MUCH longer if you play the mini-games.  Don't want to pay by the episode and want to wait for the steam release, I don't blame you, but dude is working and has a ton of content to show for it.  I just drop in and pay for a month to get each new release.

Now, this dude here who started a new game without finishing the last... they can go f themselves.
