For the shooting part, Fawkes Survivor uses an isometric setup. In Unity, I just switch the main camera to Orthographic, then set the angles to 30° on X and 45° on Y (Z stays at 0).
For aiming and shooting, I’m using a simple Raycast that turns the mouse position into a world position, and the player just rotates toward that point.
