There are some improvements you can do with the timing and extension of the music, to also some transition and pacing issues. I do agree with the suggestion of the shapes slowly warping into the actual shapes of the ingredients as she starts to understand more and more.
But with all that being said, this game has a lot of heart and I felt it. I think you succeeded in showing her struggle and her overcoming and adapting as days go by. Hopefully, it gets reworked in the future!~
