Yeah, some mechanics should make more sense in the full game. This is merely but a demo.
Also, even in the demo, there are about 9 different ways to make money other than cleaning. The game doesn't exactly direct you to every one of them. It's up to the players to explore as the area is quite small and concentrated.

Thanks for the response, I've found about 7 ways to make money more than cleaning, guess I'll keep looking, also found some secrets. Is the masterbate feature not working only happening to me? Besides selling pictures is there another way to lower the urge number? Edit: There is a Loading image error while hiding in Elize's room, and found the "another" way to lower the urge haha it works, very risky.
It's probably not worth investing more time on the demo as the full game will be released soon. Demo is short and still has a few bugs like the one you mentioned. Masturbating is only there for the visual and flavor in demo. It has mechanical value in the full game later on. There are I think 2-3 more ways kept in the demo to reduce urges other than jerking off to pics which is very low. Aphrodisiac is one of them. You can steal one for free from yuzuriha's delivery packages.
