ah the apple says 3 22 when you get it, suggesting column/row 3 22.
nevermind, I did all of the above without taking the rose at the start, and the arrow that sails past you kills the scrambled blue/red creature on the left, leaving the key to the castle, at the top you can leave the rose, not sure what to do after "you must go" and the screen goes black (you can still click).
if you pick the rose you can give it to the character on top but it doesnt change anything in the dialogue. on the left there's a body of water that says "it's quiet" and below, some kind of stonehenge structure where an eye can say "i don't hate you" in some occurences. could not go further. going to the body of water with the flower in hand makes the flower and the body of water behave strangely,
