Thank you! Sorry my wording was unclear, I should update that. It doesn't matter when you buy the game-- updates including seasonal items are included. However, seasons happen in the game based on the current month. So Halloween items are available in the game every October, and Holiday items every December. Right now, in-game seasons are just based on your computer's time, so even if it's not actually December in real life you can just set your computer's date to December and it'll work. I do plan to update the game though with special items that can activate a specific season for you whenever you want. :)
