To fix this horrific error, download Easy RPG Player, copy the Player.EXE file into the game folder, launch it, and enjoy.
I’ll fix it when I have more time. Thing is, with Easy RPG, the battle with Dragonetta won’t be turn based, which will break the intended experience :(
