Hello dear! Glad you are loving it and I am deeply sorry about your saves. That is, unfortunately, the nature of the work-in-progress beast. Chapter 6, I knew for sure, would completely shatter saves because the game file itself wasn't the same. I had to implement too many corrections and tweaks to code for it to jive with the last version. I am trying my hardest going forward to keep the file the same and keep saves from breaking, but it just may not be possible. The skip feature will help, but I totally understand it leaving you in the dark. The other thing I want to add is a journal feature so you can track the story when you skip.
