I am just wondering if the update would be out in January not try to rush you just try see if it might be out within the next month or so ?
Seeing that some other big games are about to release in December/January, I'll put my game behind them since I'm also just half-way with the rendering process as you can see in my dev logs :) It will definitely take some time since I also have quite some stuff going on irl at the moment. I can only continue to give it my best.
