Who's that invading the Mastersphere?!? :-D

So, I'm attacking the Mastersphere and the image displayed has Tori with a pistol -- I chuckled out loud at that! Tori? Well, my party consists of Maja (the Aesir Warrioress from Watery Eyes, she's my Captain), Talika, & Clea, along with the MC & Aria. Tori is back at the Cock & Bull Tavern singing and dancing. :-)

Thanks for a great game!

But they all died in the final battle -- completely outmatched.

Well, after getting everybody H.U.L.C. armor and almost maxing out stats . . . we can't even get to the final battle anymore. The combat system leaves a whole lot to be desired. I'll go hire those damn Paragons and see if they are designed to be absolute necessities as Clea seems to be consistently magically better than she should be. She is on the same level stat-wise as the others, but her performance makes the others seem like untrained rookies -- yet they have same stats.

Nope. They are so far behind the grind they are worthless at this point, and only Ayden's special weapon might have value . . . if I could take it away from him. I think breaking Aria after building her up into a superhuman will be less aggravating than taking the Mastersphere.

OK! Cyber Cannon. I don't have any, and that's a problem I have to rectify before hitting the Mastersphere again. Also, after the last fail I went and got all the regenerative surgical implants, and am now saving up for a set of the WEGA armor that has regenerative properties. I also mastered the occult regenerative power. As soon as I get the new armor I'll try again. :-)

(1 edit)

There are at least two cyber cannons available. Get both with lots of ammo.

There is a mini gun drop in the assault. Also comes in handy.

Don't forget about the implants for the MC an the NPCs.

Also max out the warrior trait on the NPCs.

Thanks, yeah, those weapons are absolutely necessary! In this game I couldn't get one of the cybercannons because I recruited the Cultist Monk of Stokke Hills instead of killing him . . . I've recruited him twice, now it'll always seem a shame to kill him after he served so well.

Oh man! I just found out you can recruit the Cultist Monk and get the Cyber Cannon -- I think I never decrypted the message before recruiting him before. Nice!

OK, finally won all the battles. If a minigun didn't fall as loot before that last battle I wouldn't have won.The end result was a letdown -- affection boosts are meaningless at this point (and have been for a long time), and the other benefits come with problems. At least make the MC High Nobility for real -- give the MC the trait, and also his wife (or wives) and his children. Up to now he's been some bum who killed his way to the top of the heap trying to find legitimacy as a Great House. Now that he's won . . . he's still a bum.

I started a new game going in the other direction in this quest -- and it is a much richer experience. I'm only a little way into it but it's very well done and has intrigued me. Oh, and thanks for :

I feel you siding with rebels should have been lucrative,I spend millions in funding the war and I get nothing worthwhile in the end , no money or business no opportunities just some stupid titles.
