oof, not a good start.

this is more just a showcase of a very jank GDevelop (very bad engine choice) pizza tower engine with barely accurate controls.

the music is mediocre and the only thing i genuinely liked about the demo was the COMBO HUD, and the second lap song. i guess the level design is fine too, but it is very much brought down by the movement being so uncontrollable.

if you're gonna make something like this, i'd suggest using gamemaker 2 instead.

edit : i didn't even get to play the second level before i deleted it thinking i was done with the demo because of the confirm button that exists separately from the jump input for some reason. why not just make the rank screen end automatically, or even put indication that it ended? i genuinely thought that the demo just ended on a still frame of the rank screen.

I'm aware of the sloppyness of the engine, so in case you didn't know:

I've started development on Gamemaker 2, and will release a new version soon. I will probably keep updating GD Cosmic Slice if I can, but it's just a matter of time that it dies and gets replaced with the new one. It's harder to work with but offers more freedom. Also, most of the music is random unused Pizza Tower OSTs (used as placeholders) since we lack of musicians- that's why it's pretty mid.
