cute little particle effects that move outward/inward with the spiral? 
make the center of the spiral tighter and decrease the thickness as it gets closer to the center, so it looks like it pulls you down to a single point as opposed to a blunt end. this would significantly improve my staring experience!

also linux build plz hehe, also also, add a check when closing to see if the current spiral configuration matches the most recently loaded/saved file,  as opposed to popping a notification each time you try to close the app!
