I mean I am waiting too but people need to understand that game development and animation is hard you can't just poof and it's done and there.

To be fair it has been around 4 months and usually updates took around 2 months.
Sure.
Then perhaps the Dev should do a report on his progress here on Itch.
I think it would go a long way towards easing people's concerns regarding the game being dead...
Until then I think impatience is warranted.
