I liked the game, but it's difficult to play in English. If possible, make it in Russian

Translations are provided by fans (we simply do not know russian ourselves, so we can't do it), and it requires a small group as there is a LOT to translate... if some russian fans are up for it, they are free to try.

If I'll try to translate it, will I need to just send you some sorta txt file or to do what? Cuz I could try, but if I need to look in the code (and change it), it'll be way harder.

Some devs provide something for a smoother job or prefer it being delivered a certain way, i'd join our Discord server and ask Caro himself (i also recall him being one of the devs that encrypted the text files, so might as well make it simpler for you).

Chances are translator++ will be enough, it's my fav, or microsoft visual studio 2022, all free and easy to use, but yeah, talk to him first, you can always poke me on there later as well.

Why the heck haven't I seen that message? No notifications for me now, ig?

Okay, a lot of people have asked similar questions, and I'm sorry but the answer is 'no.'

As for the reasons, I've actually explained this many times before:

  1. No one on the team is familiar with this new language, so we can't guarantee the quality of the translation.
  2. The game currently has close to 500k English words, and it's still being updated—that number will only keep growing. It's a massive amount of work.
  3. If we add support for a new language, we would need to maintain and update it continuously for years to come. That's really challenging, because people's enthusiasm naturally fades over time.
  4. The way Ren'Py handles translations means that if a single line of English text is modified, the corresponding translations in other languages become invalid. To put it simply, if I fix a typo in an English line, I have to re-export the Chinese and Japanese translations and re-translate the affected sentences one by one. Supporting more languages would mean even more workload, and my energy is limited.

So for now, I really don't plan to consider adding support for any new languages.

oh, sad, but okay. And also there won't be any way to do it, even if there will be a group of people who would be eager to translate it, I suppose, right?

Anyways, best regards and good luck with that beautiful game. Have a happy new year!
