I think you got way too ambitious for you first full beat em up; everything abou this, from the way hitstun works, to having a metamorphic force transformation with a bunch of moves with inputs way too long, and a platforming section in the final stage that just kills the pacing and wouldn't need to be there if enemies were properly designed. so maybe step back and polish every aspect to a sheen? Like, maybe make something like Kozure Ōkami first? (and that's not an insult, the game is a good template to start off with.)

Creo que te embarcaste en algo demasiado ambicioso para tu primer beat 'em up completo; todo en esto, desde la manera en que funciona el hitstun, hasta tener una transformación de fuerza metamórfica con un montón de movimientos con combinaciones demasiado largas, y una sección de plataformas en el escenario final que simplemente mata el ritmo y no sería necesaria si los enemigos estuvieran bien diseñados. Así que tal vez deberías dar un paso atrás y pulir cada aspecto hasta que brille. Tal vez hacer algo como Kozure Ōkami primero? (y eso no es un insulto, el juego es una buena plantilla para empezar).

Im totally aware the game is kinda big for me, but, is like, the game and story i always wanted to make since i was 11, even through the game is not the best and the ideas arent really impressive or anything big, it just would make me happy to have it finished as a personal project XD
The final stage is actually being revamped rn, same for some sfxs and the whole menus and title screens.
Tbh, I wasnt thinking about the platforming section killing the pacing, i just copied stage 7-10 and put them on reverse LOL but this is really useful feedback so ill try to replace those with something that feels better to play
About the "polish every aspect to a sheen" is actually very dificult bc almost no one plays this but myself XD so some ideas can be good in my mind but not very good for others when playing. That comes in hand with the "inputs way too long" part, bc for me theyre not very long, in fact they used to be even longer, but i already had to cut them before, and cutting them again would make them very short imo, like, 4-6 buttons arent THAT bad imo, i dont want them to be just 3 buttons long bc that would be easy to spam, but looks like thats just what I think as the programmer and the player thinks a different thing, so i have to look for a balance there
And  the "that's not an insult" is not needed, dont worrryyy XD feedback is always useful! Ill try to do what i can in the next updates!  maybe in the next-next or next-next-next tho AJSDJJAXD
