Hi! Thanks for letting me know about the issue. Could you tell me what platform you’re playing on (PC, Android, web, etc.)? Also, please let me know if you saw any error message or if the screen looked different before it closed. Any extra detail could help me figure out what’s going on

Hello, I'm playing on a PC and no, there were no errors, just a white window and that's it, when I restart the game, everything is the same white window 2 and nothing happens anymore.

Of course I can upload a video here is the link to the video you can see for yourself.

It’s the first time I’ve seen this error. When checking the Ren’Py documentation, I found out what might be causing it. Some computers have issues with Ren’Py’s hardware acceleration, usually due to outdated graphics drivers.

1. First, please update your graphics card drivers.

2. If the issue persists, try changing the video renderer:

  • Hold down Shift while opening the game.
  • In the Graphics Acceleration menu, select a different renderer (for example, GL or ANGLE).
  • Click Quit and restart the game.

Let me know if this works, and thank you so much for your help!

Hello, I did as you said, but nothing happened. Everything is the same as it was before

Honestly, I have no idea what might be causing the error in your case, since it’s the first time I’ve seen it... Sorry about that. If you want, you can play the web version on itch.io, which is a reduced version, or the Newgrounds version, which is also web-based but complete: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1002421

I’ll keep investigating anyway in case I find a solution, and thanks so much for taking such an interest in playing StreamBound!

And thank you for wanting to help in any way. I hope this problem will be solved.
