Its possible that shes meant to be sterile, but certain game factors like heat can influence it and raise it just enough above zero that it's possible (this is me guessing, I dont actually know)
you and the guy on discord were wrong, which you would have known if you actually read the text, she becomes fertile when her corruption reaches 175%. Which I know because I actually read the text
