That is because your phones cpu cannot handle shaders that are too much on screen. When you lower the quality. the resolution and anti aliasing gets reduced making it less straining for your phone. Perhaps you can play the pc version if your phone isn't strong enough. My apologies for this. It runs fine on my phone.
