Avon is definitely crazy. I feel like he hurts people the way he does as a way those people to always stay his side. Like with zander he molded him into what he wanted so that zander would somehow always come back to him. I think h feels like "normal" people have it easy in life in contrast to his which is why he goes on these dates and offs those people.
