Not really. What's your device. If you try playing it on anything else than a PC that might be a reason.
I downloaded the most recent version of Renpy and ran the game through the renpy dev program, game worked no issues through there. Are you using the most recent version of renpy for the game? I am unsure as to why the game would work on my PC through the renpy devkit but not through the standard application launch
