Hey guys, I never comment on games like this lol, but I felt like this game deserves it. I really quite liked the stories so far. I like the direction you're taking each of the routes and I can tell the writing has gotten significantly better in the more recent bits. Alas, I do have a couple inquiries.

EDIT: After re reading this, I realised this is a lot of text, lol, sorry.

  1. Are you guys planning a full overhaul of the game to get the earlier sequences up to par with the later ones? I understand that's obviously a very long term task, but I do feel like the jumps in quaity of sprites/writing can be a bit jarring at times. Just wanted to know whether that was part of the plan before you consider the game 100% finished.
  2. This is less of a question, I suppose, but I think the Aurelie route felt just a tiiiiiny bit rushed, with her inviting MC over so quickly after all that happened. I feel like it could have used a little more wholesome time with her first. Again, just my perception, and I understand it takes time to change stuff that's already in the game, but I was wondering if she might ever get a little more, what's the word, fluff? In the future? I for one think she's got a lot of potential in that direction, I'd say it's my personal favourite story path of the bunch, maybe more hangouts/scenes together with Clyde and Haru. To give a closer look at that change of heart towards MC, make him work for it a little more. I suppose this could extend to more of the characters overall, I think the story would benefit from a bit more fluff in general before the action, ease into it a little more. I like a slow burn, sue me, haha.
  3. I want to ask if you have any plans for storylines involving the thursday and friday classes, since right now, there really isn't much of a reason to attend them.
  4. Lastly, and this is a tiny one, when you get a choice of dialogue, the button for selecting dialogue reacts to click on while passing to the next panel is on click off, so it makes you always skip the first dialogue box when selecting unless you hold down left click. Just thought i'd point it out, not sure if it can be changed in RenPy, never worked with it. it's not a huge deal, just a bit annoying is all.

Anyway, that's all. Please don't take any of this as nagging, it's just my personal opinion/curiosity, so don't feel the need to act on any of it. Just wanted to ask about your guys' general vision and whether any of what I mentioned is in the cards at some point in the future. As I said, I think you guys are doing an amazing job at writing these characters, so don't blame me for wanting to spend more time with them outside the bedroom, haha.

Lastly, I send Cipheos my warmest regards and wish him a speedy recovery. I hope that none of you are prioritising this project over your health. We're not some corporate shareholders, if you need time to rest then don't let anyone complaining here make you change your mind. We all want more of this game, but you can't well give anyone that if you die of exhaustion, so take it easy.

I wish you all the best of luck and a long, successful carreer in this business, it's one hell of a daunting task to make a game, nevermind a good one, so you better take care of yourselves so we can all keep enjoying your work that you put so much effort into. Wouldn't wanna waste all that talent you got. Thanks for the response in advance, and good luck, again.

1. In fact, yes, we do. First we started with updating Sonya and Seraphina. But we plan to do more and update Yun, Andre and other characters by the order of who's content is the oldest. Actually, who out of the current cast would benefit from a rework in your opinion?

2. We agree and will see what can be done. Sadly, Aurelie is pretty new in terms of "freshness" of her content, so we won't be able to do much about that right now or we will get stuck with redoing the same routes all the time and not progress with other characters.

3.The plan is to rework how all classes work and add a storyline for each of them with some story stuff happening every few lessons you visit. But with how much we still have to rework (Backgrounds, UI, old content) we really don't know when we will be able to start implementing that :c

There is so much stuff we want to do with the game before it becomes officially a version 1.0. And not enough time to do all that while maintaning enough support on Patreon to keep the business going. So we're taking slow but steady approach.

Cipheos is already getting better! And we tried to make him stay in his bed and recover, but he insisted that coding while laying in bed is "recovery too".

Hello! Thank you for responding this quickly, I like how active you guys are in these comments.

  1. Great to hear, I'm very excited to see what the final version will look like one day. As for my opinion, though I'm flattered you ask, I must admit I have not yet completed all of the paths quite yet. I'm still to finish the Reina/Ava path and the Yun path completely.
    That being said, I do think the best contenders for a rework right now are Yun and Freja (though it might not be my final opinion is I have yet to see all of the former). Andre is a strong third IMO, her route is pretty well fleshed out for a side character, I'd say it's on par with Blaze, though the first couple interactions could probably use a touchup if it's ever being considered. Though I saw you mention you're planning a full rework of the intro at some point, so that's probably gonna address most of my pet peeves anyway.
  2. Completely understandable. I don't think you should be sacrificing fresh content for the sake of reworking old things. It was more of a "this was great but I wish it took a slightly different turn there" kinda deal. Just my personal preference, I understand that different players have different expectations, and most importantly, you guys have your own vision. Like any other art form, you can never please everyone, so the best you can do is please yourself and see how many people enjoy it (i realise that is not the best phrasing but english is my second language and i'm getting tired so cut me some slack)
  3. Sounds awesome. Don't worry about the date, just hearing the plan tells me all I need to know. Take all the time you need, slow and steady wins the race, afterall.
  4. Great to hear. I can only assume it's a fairly minor fix to just set the dialogue selection to click off and be done with it, though if there's no way to do it globally then that's definitely a pain in the ass, and one I know better than I'd like to.

Thanks for the response, I totally respect whichever route you guys decide to take. Very excited to see that MC's room overhaul, whenever it drops. Just stay safe and take it easy.

 W devs, I finished whats out yesterday and i am also looking forward to future updates. I was looking for something like summertime saga which has felt neglected by the devs so it is awesome to see Young & Naughty putting so much effort into their game.


I do have a question, what happened to Sonya?? she just disappeared at some point lol!! and Andre became Bo's roommate XD
