Right?? The stealth mechanic is SO underrated! I had a run where I got disguised and just walked right past a rook to set up a perfect shot from behind. The way they made chess actually feel sneaky is wild. Also totally agree about the risk/reward with cards - picking between buffing yourself vs buffing enemies adds so much tension to each choice.
