I like the theme and mash-up quite a bit! I've read it a couple times and I'm still not sure how the dice system works — am I building a pool? It might just be the use of "lost dice" that throws me. Anyway, very fun!
My idea was for it to be a pool system, but because I built it out of a game that does not have a pool system I had to improvise. The goal is for different modifiers to add or remove dice from your pool, and it was a real struggle to phrase that in genius loci terms :)
