Good stuff.

This felt really polished, though I'm not sure the creators will agree with me because jumping Mink has no legs, he's so bereft. Speaking of, Mink is cute when his hair sticky-uppy is doing things like falling over or being a question mark. And at all other times.

Speaking of speaking of, the character designs are gorgeous. Which is a bit weird for me to say, because I think I wouldn't really like them if the colors were simpler or different. Goodness, the colors. There's a whole four or five of them on Del and Mink. The little details too, like Del's brooch, Mink's buttons and paint splotches. Seriously, they look great. There's also that great translation from them being toys to being human-ish.

The bg music is leveled out and isn't all different volumes (thumbs up). After looking at the About and Credits, I noticed there were way more tracks than I would have expected for a 30 minute game - I hardly even noticed there were that many while playing. MC's room looks well balanced I think, while still being stuffed (heh) full of plushies to the point there's floor ones *and* ceiling ones. (My eye is also drawn to the random Doric column for a nightstand.)

Spoilers Below:
I am super excited about the way I was first drawn to dialogue options that cared about the plushies, which led to special CGs and the normal ending, and also the clue to unlocking the true ending.

I'm also glad Mochi is honest with themself about not being able to take care of the two in the ways that *they think* those two need. And even if they'd forgotten the names of those two plushies from long ago (how most people would be, after years), they did at least manage to remember P's name.

P's design is also something I want to talk about, colors-wise. Having her be monochrome and dark instead of pastel in contrast to the other two, to me, sells the idea "this doesn't belong here". And then you meet her and it turns out she's just a big fan of purple.

EDIT: Also, you can't get one of the P endings if you get either of Del or Mink's CGs. You have to avoid buying into the plushies-turning-into-people plot for later routes.

One last thing - the spooky noise you get when the MC feels something is amiss - I love that so much. It both adds to the atmosphere and (after a choice) tells the player they're on the right track to an ending.
:End Spoilers.

Thank you devs, for making Mochi Dango Lopez a name that any one of us could empathize with. I'm looking forward to your next work that's in development!
