at random points the character would just be unresponsive, got to the end and then had my character just freeze on me and I died...

nooo, that's a shame :(
yeah i've had 2 other people report that to occasionally happen with the primary attack, the problem is i've never had that in unity so i don't even know how to try to debug the problem Dx
there's now a .exe which might not have any of those issues, i'll have to hear if anyone has issues with it.
