i'm going to post a little headcannon (srry if its weird, my little brain is totally rotten, today i discovered that playing adoptme for 5 hours could make you think a little slow)

Headcanon: “Qiu and the Alice Thing”
I think when Qiu was little, Alice in Wonderland kind of freaked him out.
Not in a big, nightmare way —just that weird, uneasy kind of feeling kids get when something doesn’t sit right.
The grinning cat, the talking cards, the queen yelling “off with their heads!” all the time… it was a lot
He never really knew why it scared him
He’d just cross his arms and say, “I don’t like that story,” and leave it at that.
It was one of those quiet, harmless fears that come and go when you’re a kid
A little scenario
The air smelled like caramel and pumpkins.
Leaves crunched under their sneakers, and porch lights glowed orange in the dark.
Star came running down the sidewalk in a bright blue dress, a black bow bouncing in her hair.
“Look! I’m Alice!” she announced, spinning in a circle.
Tamarack, dressed as a Santa, laughed so hard his hat bells jingled.
“You look awesome, Star!”
Qiu, holding a plastic scythe and wearing a hood that kept slipping over his eyes, stopped mid-step.
He was the Grim Reaper, but honestly, he was more cute than scary.
“…Alice?” he asked quietly, as if saying the name might make the Cheshire Cat appear.
“Yeah!” Star grinned. “Isn’t it cute?”
Qiu hesitated.
“I don’t know,” he mumbled. “That story’s kinda creepy.”
Star blinked. “Creepy how?”
He fiddled with his scythe.
“The cat that smiles too much… and that queen who keeps yelling. And she falls down that hole forever. I don’t like that part.”
Tamarack snorted. “Then don’t look if Star finds a rabbit hole!”
“I’m not falling anywhere!” Star huffed, swinging her candy bag. “I’m just trick-or-treating!”
Qiu nodded, serious again.
“Okay. But if that cat shows up, I’m outta here.”
The three of them laughed, their voices echoing between the houses as they ran off to the next porch.
Later that night, when Qiu got home, he opened his little notebook (or notepad idk) and scribbled:
“Star dressed up as Alice.
It wasn’t that scary after all.
The cat never showed up.”
(star is my oc (mc) is not the unique but is my favorite)
