With question 9, I would like either an answer that says "impossible, I would have stopped going before them," or "I'll miss them regardless." Someone would really have to constantly be on my nerves for me to actually dislike someone in the first place, and that is just not sustainable for my mind, so I would be gone as soon as I realise they frequent a place.

Question 17: ask myself "why am I in a bookstore?"

Firefighter isn't a job where I live. It's a volunteer position, some places moght pay their volunteers, but it's not enough to make a living.

"Reorganizing everything in your bedroom, including the furniture..." I'm affraid to ask what someone would be reorganizing that isn't furniture? Also, a bedroom is for sleeping, is it somehow not?

Where would I have gotten onto a train in the first place?

38 indifferent

Same, if somebody bothered me that much I would have stopped going a long time ago. Also for the bedroom question a lot of people have things like decorations, collectables, toys and all kinds of stuff in their rooms. Plus any clothes/jewelry/accessories they have. Also a lot of people who don't have any extra rooms might put a desk in their room to do work or arts/crafts. I personally have a TV in my room for when I want to watch/play something that my brother does not. Also it's been very helpful since I've been really sick for a while and can't often get out of bed. I also keep things like medications, drinks, books and various electronics in my room. And while absolutely not common at all I currently temporarily have a 3D printer in my room. But I guess mostly the "not furniture" is decorations/collectables for most people, especially people taking a pokemon quiz. I can see multiple pokemon figures from my bed as well as pokemon plushies and pokemon cards.

You talk about desks like they aren't furniture, which they are indeed a type of furniture. Isn't everything else, that isn't furniture, still tied to to them? One's not going to be moving your TV onto a shelf that can't support it, and one wouldn't set the 3D printer onto the desk that they use for work. I don't think people would put their hard plastic figurines on their bed. They wouldn't put books inside of their dressers, and they wouldn't put the clothes they are still wearing in the trash can. A jewellery box would have to stay by a mirror, I feel.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I'm gonna reply to this whole thread in one chunk:

Q9: "Impossible, I would have stopped going before them," is SUCH a strong answer, and that's definitely going in! "I'll miss them regardless," is also good, but I may need to adjust it a bit to make sure it doesn't negate the question too much or create more choice fatigue - lord knows this test has so much of that as it is...

Q17: Sassy answer, I like it! Once again, I might tinker to make sure it doesn't encourage skipping the question too much, but I think that could go in too.

Q23: Fortunately (for me) I was already planning on adjusting the question in a way that would remove any lingering concept of a paycheck, but you're totally right! - I genuinely had no idea that most firefighters are volunteers. 'The More You Know' I guess!

Q29: I have a lot of things in my bedroom that I wouldn't consider furniture, but I suppose you're right that most of them are still tied to certian pieces of furniture - I just wanted to cover my bases. Zairenzu touched on this a bit, but if you don't have the same access to other rooms, a bedroom can be a space for lots of stuff. For instance, at various points in my life, I have prioritized leaving a lot of space for exercising, or having things laid out to make work more efficient, or so that I always have a screen facing me (oof) or just made a bunch of space so that my dog could run around more.

Q30: I'm assuming you were asking where one would get onto a specifically intercontinental train (otherwise the answer would just be "a train station") and if so, you're not wrong. I myself don't live in a country with a big train culture, let alone an intercontinental train, which I'm just now learning may not actually exist anywhere. This is probably the most "Pokemon" question on here (specifically invoking the Johto-Kanto magnet train) and is also probably due for a more grounded re-imagining, given the fantastical nature of it.

Q38: "Indifferent" is a fascinating response in this context. I'd like to add it, because it's so distinct from the other answers, but could you elaborate a bit on that? Cuz personally, I do the same repetitive task for hours and hours on a near-daily basis, and I'm used to it, but when I wrap up, I still feel something after that experience.

Q41: Aw, this is a sweet idea, I never would've thought of it! That question might get reframed, since someone pointed out that a lot of people don't carry cash in the first place, but I will either add your answer as is, or something with the same spirit in the next update.

Q46: I could probably add this! I assume you would be saying this in a mocking/sarcastic way, and not in a "good - my friend needed to be taken down a peg anyway," kind of way, yes?

... although now that I've said that, I kind of want that one too, but only if I have space for it.

Thank you again genuinely for all the suggestions, and my apologies for the essay response :)

Hey, I'm glad you like some of my suggestions.

With Question 38, I actually retract that statement. I feel tired after such a session, but I had forgotten how tired I feel. My thought was that I always feel tired, so the tiredness I experience after such a session is negligible, but, as I am currently experiencing the tiredness as I write this message, that is not the case.

With Question 42, it is sarcastic with all my heart.

I'm not saying desks and stuff aren't furniture, I was more saying that if you have a desk in your room you're going to have something on that desk. Sure, basically everything goes on furniture but you can redecorate your room without moving furniture at all, like by moving decorations/figures/whatever from one piece of furniture to another or putting some away/adding more or changing how things are displayed on said furniture. You can add tablecloths and posters and do all kinds without moving any furniture. Often people use "redecorate" to mean change/move the decorations in a room hence why the quiz says "including furniture" as you don't need to change/move furniture in order to redecorate.
