Hi! We've been looking over the mod and there's quite a few errors here. Many of the tokens you're using are for a much older version of the game, and some don't exist at all. DAMBLOCK and SPEED are tokens from much earlier versions of the game. In addition, many of the tokens within the BODY line don't exist. NO_AGING is a tag applied to syndromes, not the creature itself. In the interaction token, SYN_BLOOD is also not a real token, and IT_FORBIDDEN:VERMIN won't work. There's a few other issues too, so I recommend looking at modern werebeast and dwarf raw files and comparing them to your own work, using that to create a version of your mod that is up to date with the current raw system.

Yeah thats basically what I did but I must not have used good examples lol or something changed since the reference I used, still a good first attempt if I do say so myself. How long it takes to test and df hack not letting me create a creature in game for testing thru me for a loop. Thanks for holding the gamejam, if you do another one maybe I can take a crack at 2.0! I never really liked dwarfs and as I see many people just use fd fortress as a reskinned furry-rts simulator these days, so I thought it might be fun to add were'dwarves so the furries can be reminded of the mark of their lowly origin. I wanted to just readd the vanilla graphics as a new dwarf type so people reskinning could have weredwarves even when they reskinned dwarves but I gave up when I saw there was a new sprite layering system to learn. If you have any resources of what the new/premium lua code is supposed to look like please share examples if possible. Thanks again!
