Against my better judgement i decided to buy game because it costs arround 18$ in my region. It was bad idea.
What do you get for 35$, compared to free 'demo' (0.3.5):
1. One new enemy
2. Slight adjustments to existing areas, nothing really meaningful like adding frogs with bugs to slime dungeon or moving alpha wolf from beginning camp to the end
3. Adjustments to story, mostly encounter on a bridge and post-dragon events.
4. Game starts right in the dungeon. Removed scene with blacksmith(if i remember correctly), tavern minigame was massacred, now you just deliver beers. Idk how access backrooms, nor i care at this point.
5. Was added miscellanies area where Warlock resides, just empty plot area. 5th and last area with generic enemies(you've seen all in 0.3.5, just with different abilities) and 3 bosses which are reskins of existing enemies and final boss. Overall i'd say area is quite boring.
Use of Petrify spell can softlock you on at least some bosses, when they are petrified.
Game was supposed to be much bigger but these ideas got scrapped and a reason why year ago i quit supporting author on Patreon.
In overall for 35$ you're getting very and very little. All new additions are so minor that honest price would be 5$.

I understand that the paid version is expensive for what you get, but it was released early, (mainly because of the censorship trends by certain platforms!) so the current latest version had a LOT of planned content cut! as far as I know it’s not the FINAL version! So… yeah! anyway just thought I’d let you know!
for one, your review is biased by the fact that you’d played the game during development on patreon, for two, if you’ve supported the game development, for a while you’ve likely been subscribed to the patreon, meaning you’ve likely ALREADY spent 35$ and all you’d need to do was get a free key from the dev InputHero! if you haven’t supported the game than that means you’d only played during the VERY last version on patreon. soooo… anyway the only reason I made my first reply was because I thought other potential players might want to know that the dev didn’t 1. release the game early on purpose and, 2. AFAIK didn’t want it to be so expensive for so little. also most of your points regarding “old content” being changed for the worse was just untrue, like the tavern backrooms, all you’d need to do is walk around for 2 minutes to find out how, just play the tavern mini game until all customers have hearts, and then go talk to the barkeep! P.S 5$ is way to little, that’s just being cheap even for a game with little content!
Biased how? Disliking changes in Steam version because earlier version was objectively better is being biased?
I was subscribed to patreon for 1-2 months until I learned that game has bleak future after talking with dev. Never anticipated that it will be scummy too.
Did tavern minigame in older version but it just didn't wanted to work in Steam version. Also maybe it works now, there were bug fixes for Steam version.
Can you specify what exactly is not true? Now you're being too vague. For example I wrote part about empty areas. Warlock basement is really best example.
5$ isn't too little given game state. At best 10$. There now both free and 35$ version, free is somehow better.
P.S. I'm not hating Steam release just for the sake of it. Played 0.3.x versions and extensively bug tested game for many hours for free just because really liked it and wanted to help a bit.
