Hey everyone!

I have a typing deduction game (like Golden Idol games, Obra Dinn) prototype, with a  "Death Note" mechanic: Book of Death: The King must die.  You piece together character names from documents and dialogues in a medieval fantasy world. If you know the names of the characters, you can kill them to reveal more clues/progress the story. You will learn new rules about the death book during your gameplay.

The first half of the game: As a devoted member from the Order of Fate Enforcers you are on a sacred mission to kill a beloved king in a western empire. However, you will need the king’s full name first…

The second half of the game: Your master has been sentenced to death. He must survive at all costs. A ghost promises to reveal a secret rule about your death book if you solve his murder. You hope that learning the secret will somehow help you save your master.

It has 2-3 hours of gameplay.

Before going fully public, I wish to get answers to the following questions:
1.) Did you reach the end? (When credits roll.) If not, where did you give up?
2.) Is the game too complicated, exhausting? Should it be simpler?
3.) Can you get used to the interface (UI) and controls, or was it uncomfortable throughout?
4.) What do you think about the fonts? Are they too hard to read?
5.) Did you encounter any bugs?
6.) Was the English translation weird sometimes?
7.) Am I cooked? Am I doomed to work 12 hours shift in a factory for $9,600 yearly salary?

You can play it in your browser:
– Opera, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge works
– Firefox does not work
– in other browsers it wasn't tested

Thank you for your time!
