I love a good minigame roundup! Really great range of games for the time we had. I know it's difficult to code like 4 different games in a week so that was really well done. The memory game was my favourite and was well presented and felt good to play!

That said, some could use a little more polish. The maze game is really long, and not mechanically difficult so it feels more tedious than exciting. I think it would also be good to design your games with the timer in mind! It's a really cool inclusion to incentivize repeat playing and improving at the games but I think the maze game and the cup game conflict with the timer idea a little bit. With the maze, it isn't randomized and once the real key is found, you'll know exactly where you need to run to and it'll be hard to improve your time after the first run. With the cups, it's a matter of if you guess the cup correctly and win the 1/3 chance so the timer doesn't feel particularly satisfying with either of those minigames. It's a small thing, but I think it could be more satisfying to have some statistic that measures your success better than a timer or design games with the timer in mind!

That said, minigame collections are huge effort and that four were ready and shipped in time is really impressive! The jumpscares were also really fun when you lose games. Great submission!

Edit: One more thing! I recommend putting images and spicing up your submission page a little bit! I didn't in my first jam and found that far more players were drawn to my game when I had images on it!

Liked the mini game type gameplay and the art style.

Feedback:
-  the cup game didnt feel like it had any skill was just random
- didnt feel like being scared connected to the gameplay at all just felt like I was getting jumpscared for no reason
- was confused about the eviroment for picking the doors
- clicking p on doors to open was really confusing would have liked the up arrow to go in or space since yoy use those buttons more in the mini games

All of this to say it was one of the most fun games I have played from the gamejam so congrats!

I beat the game in 5 minutes and 31 seconds I'm a freaking pro, it was super fun my favorite one was the maze, Me personally I could tell which ones were fake pretty easy if you ask me. uhhh yeah dude i liked all of them it was super fun and i think if you can make a fun game that's all that matters you don't even need sound, nice game my guy :]

Overall, enjoyed playing through this game.  Managed to get 3 / 4 keys: didn't get the red key as I kept getting fakes.  Couple of notes:

  • Didn't seem to be any sound when I played on the web.
  • Enjoyed the player avatar, and the art / aesthetic in general.
  • Horror / coherent story didn't seem to be a core aspect of the game - the keys were an overarching mechanic, but never really got a sense for why I needed them or what I was specifically trying to escape.
  • Favorite minigame was probably the memory, least favorite was the maze.
  • The breadth of minigame types was impressive given the time constraints.
