I even have some ideas on special events with squad leaders!
1. Soldier leader: He will show his gratitude to Ryen because despite being the king, Ryen is willing to get his own hand dirty to help common folks. After some quests he’ll teach his fellow academy students (Ryen & Tsubaki) new physical attack and increase party’s physical damage.
2. Heavy leader: She’ll reveal her true gender and masochism at some point. After Brad& Ryoko consulted her mental scars as former slaves (and Ryen satisfied her masochistic “need”) she’ll improve Brad, Ryoko and Trey’s ability to tank damage and increase party’s defense.
3. Pikeman leader: He’ll enthusiastically chat with Elly about firearm warfare and other modern military theories. After helping him with resources and field testing he’ll teach Elly new tactics and increase party’s evasion.
4. Cavalier leader: Because of his wing fetish he’ll get along with Ryen and Kayelinth. He’ll request “borrowing” Kayelinth and Vampire because he and his lover want to experience how raising children feels like. After that he’ll teach them some creative use of their animal traits and increase party’s agility.
5. Archer leader: At first he’ll be at odds with Mirel because he wanted to end elve’s monopoly on archery. After Ryne finished some quests to ease the tension he’ll accept Mirel and teach her new tricks on archery & animal spirit magic and increase party’s accuracy.
6. Mage leader: After some quests about espionage and improving security by developing magic locks with the help of Chiyo and Sandra. He’ll feel safe enough to teach them new spells and increase party’s magic attack.
7. Healer leader: She will admire Mira because she’s been dreaming of becoming an angel herself. After some quests about humanitarian aid she’ll teach Mira how to keep everyone alive and increase party’s magic defense.
