Played through twice, these are my thoughts:

-Love the implication of a greater setting. Lot going on there. Lightbringers, the death of earth, a stranger in a strange place, it's like a dream.

-Combat is difficult to learn but it's really fun once you pick it up. Simple with deceptive depth - the idea of stringing two separate defensive mechanics together so that you can't overrely on one or the other is great, and the focus on drawing to attack and defend is cool. I only wish there were more fights because it is genuinely such a great concept that could be taken in so many directions, as well as a proper combat tutorial so you could learn how it works.

-The visual aesthetic is great and the sound design is immaculate. This game reminds me of a mix of Hylics and 0_Abyssal_Somewhere in its world with a combat system that feels like a mix of Undertale and that one Google Doodle series or perhaps Fruit Ninja. This isn't a condemnation; it's a unique playstyle that really flows.

-Pacingwise this game appears in two seperate sections; you wander and then you fight. It might have been nice to split the combats apart a little more.

All in all this is wholeheartedly worth playing. Combat, music, setting, it's great, and it's polished - a virtue that can make or break games. In the case of this game, it's a diamond in the rough for sure. 9/10. Wonderful game.
